How to start
Start small. Or start scoped. Never start blind.
Three entry points, lowest commitment first. Each one ends with something written down that you can act on, with or without us.
React codebase audit
£2,500 · 5 days
An independent senior opinion: architecture, performance, accessibility, security and CI/CD, with a prioritised remediation plan.
What the audit covers →Legacy API → AWS API Gateway
£15,000 · 6 weeks
Your legacy REST API rebuilt on API Gateway and Lambda. Near-zero downtime, infrastructure as code, monitoring, documented handover.
See the migration scope →AI integration & agents
Prototype in 2–3 weeks
A working RAG assistant on your own data in weeks, then production hardening: evals, guardrails, observability, cost control.
Our AI services →What to expect
The same rules on every engagement.
Whichever step you start on, the way we work does not change. These are the things clients tell us they noticed first.
Senior only
The engineers you meet on the call are the engineers who do the work. There is no bench.
Incremental, always
We do not do big-bang rewrites. Value ships from the first month and the business keeps running.
Honest about AI
We will tell you when AI is not the answer. We solve problems, we do not sell technology.
Fixed price where it fits
Two of our entry points have a fixed price and a fixed timeline. If we under-estimate, that is our problem.
Built to hand over
Documentation, tests and CI/CD from day one, so your team owns the result rather than inheriting it.
NDA before code
We sign your NDA, or offer ours, before any repository access. No exceptions.
After you get in touch
Three things happen, in this order.
- 1
We reply within 24 hours
An engineer reads your message, not a sales team.
You get a short, direct reply from the person who would actually work on the problem. If we are not the right fit, we say so in that first email and point you somewhere better.
- 2
A 20-minute call
You talk, we listen, and we ask the awkward questions early.
We want to understand the system, the constraint and the outcome you are after. No deck. By the end of the call you will know whether the work is a fixed-price step, a scoped engagement, or something you should not do yet.
If it is an audit or an API migration, we can usually confirm the next available slot on the call.
- 3
A written plan you can keep
Every engagement starts with something in writing.
For the fixed-price steps that is the audit report or migration scope. For larger work it is a short proposal: what we will build, in what order, with what team, and how you will know it is working. You can take it to your board, or to another agency. About a third of people do the work in-house from our plan, and that is a fine outcome.
Bring us the messy, valuable software problem.
We will help you decide what to build, what to modernise, and where the highest-return work actually is.
